There are several factors that will determine the cost of a house clearance. The first thing we look at is the amount of stuff to clear. The volume of stuff is the biggest factor in pricing.
Next, we look at the items that may have a surcharge. These items include Mattresses, Old CRT Monitors and TV`s, Refrigerators, Paints, and Chemicals (usually found in Garages) and Car Tyres.
The surcharge would not be applied to fridges and freezers if they are re-usable but they must be intact and cosmetically good with all drawers and shelves intact.
Once we have looked at these, we will have the cost of the clearance. After that cost is worked out, we look at any value in the contents of the property.
Items such as gold and silver will be valued at current rates on the day.
The total value of the contents is added up and the value is deducted from the cost.
Cost of clearance is £800.00 and the value of the contents is £400.00 means your bill would be £400.00
If the value of the goods is £800.00 your bill would be zero and if the value of the goods exceeds the cost of the house clearance then we would pay you the difference.
The best and most accurate quote is done by visiting the property. We can give an estimate over the phone or via email but this would not be binding. When we visit we can see what is there and look at any value in the property contents too.
It is worth pointing out that furniture has generally very little value in the auction market. The majority of value lies in smaller items such as collectibles and jewellery.
Old Toys and Antiques, Coins, and other items have way more value than most furniture.

We have several payment options available including Card, BACS, and Cash. Payment is required immediately upon completion unless you are acting for an executor of an estate, are a solicitor or letting agent or a Local Authority. We will invoice professionals and organisations upon job completion.
